BEHER stands out for its own production of 100% Iberian pigs raised outdoors on farms located in the province of Salamanca, Extremadura, north west Andalusia and the Alentejo region in Portugal. It has magnificent processing facilities where absolute quality control is practiced.
The genetic selection of breed sows – registered in the Iberian pigs’ genealogical book – careful feeding based on selected cereals, pastures, the natural resources of the farms themselves, where the pigs feed – it being essential that they exercise and live in freedom, the exhaustive control of animal welfare, the unique climate of Guijuelo and the strict quality controls that are applied in the processing facilities result in Iberian products of the highest quality.
