The Cajamar cooperative bank, a financial group specialised in the financing of agri-food companies, will support the Spanish meat industry for the third consecutive year at Meat Attraction. On its stand, professionals and entrepreneurs from the sector will come together to share and exchange ideas and knowledge about the perspectives and challenges in the meat sector.
The Cajamar Group’s permanent commitment to the meat industry has been highlighted in recent years through the agreement with ANICE, the promoter of Meat Attraction, being as it is the first and only financial entity present since the beginning of this fair. In addition, among other initiatives, it publishes and publicises the ANICE-Cajamar Barometer, an instrument for measuring the situation in the Spanish meat industry, which provides information and knowledge on this market’s trends, and collaborates in the organisation of meetings such as the “Symposium on the internationalisation opportunities of the Spanish meat sector” together with ICEX and ANICE.
The Cajamar Group serves 3.4 million customers. It has 5,492 employees and 975 branches, in addition to its electronic, mobile and telephone banking service channels. As of 31 March 2019, its managed business volume was €76.325 billion. Its size and volume of assets, €44.358 billion, makes it one of the Spanish financial system’s significant entities.
