Meat Attraction , the International Trade Show for the Meat Industry which will be held in Hall 10 of IFEMA from 17 to 19 September, was present at the Ordinary General Assembly of Asociación Interprofesional de las Palmípedas Grasas (Interprofessional Fattened Duck Association, or Interpalm) that took place in Madrid, where all of this organisation’s companies met to analyse the sector’s situation.

During the presentation, Almudena de Castro, commercial manager of Meat Attraction, presented the full programme of exhibitions, conferences and congresses that will take place over the three days of the fair, in which innovation and knowledge about this sector will play an important role. "The main objective of the fair is to position Spain and its meat industries as one of the main international hubs for the marketing of meat products, helping to position the Spanish production and marketing sector as one of the world's leading suppliers."

Meat Attraction is a crucial domestic and international showcase for the entire meat product value chain, which includes duck products, and it is becoming more export-focused by the year, expressing significant interest in the opening of new markets, such as China, the guest importing country.

Meat Attraction is the specialised professional event for the Spanish meat industry, which will hold its third edition from 17 to 19 September. It is organised by IFEMA and ANICE (Asociación Nacional de Industrias de la Carne en España - National Association of Meat Industries of Spain). 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professionals from 50 countries are expected to take part in the fair, which will include numerous tools to offer business opportunities and value to exhibitors, such as the expanded programme of sectorised B2Meat meetings with international buyers, selected by ICEX in 15 priority countries for Spanish exports, and the buyers programme, which allows exhibitors to directly invite contacts and potential customers, with their travel and accommodation costs covered by Meat Attraction.

This edition will include different events and actions of great interest, such as the X Congreso Mundial del Jamón (10th World Ham Congress), the second edition of #Distrimeat, the European Meat Distribution Congress, the Meat&Organic Congress or 'Meatic’, the Conference on Automation and Digitalisation in Industry, the Innovation Hub, the directory of new developments and star products of all the fair’s exhibitors, and the Accelera Awards for Innovation, as well as other activities like Semana de la Carne (Meat Week), Factoría Chef and Día del Carnicero (Butcher’s Day). All with the goal of attracting all the major retail procurement managers, supermarkets, importers, meat traders, HORECA, etc. to come together and build the definitive international commercial platform for the entire meat industry value chain.
